WHO WE ARE

GHEC is a community-based organization who focuses on an effort to get out of our "silos," to discuss collaboration opportunities amongst Houston's higher education and K12 institutes; or to simply share unique technology projects happening on various campuses.

HOW DO WE GET OUT OF THE "SILO"?

We organize events that allow our members to remove themselves from the competitive environment by hosting collaborative forums to bring people and ideas together. Our collaboration is sustain through five functional areas:

Socials - Quarterly events to meet with peers in education
Lectures - Best Practice in education/instructional technology
Financial - "In Kind" support for grants
Projects - Encourage and initiate collaboration among peers and institutions
Seminars - Promote technology on campus and rewards champions
